Pro Insurance Group

Following the Steel Strike of 1959 and recognizing the potential in the bustling "Steel Town" communities west of Pittsburgh, PA,, Giulio A. Felici founded The Felici Insurance Agency in 1960.  Felici Insurance continued to operate multiple locations in the Ohio Valley offering insurance and financial products to policyholders for over five decades.

The Pro Insurance Group was founded in 2015 by Felici's grandson, Matthew S. Provenzano.  With the acquisition of Felici Insurance, The Pro Insurance Group has grown into a regional insurance agency. Under Matthew's leadership, locations span across multiple states with offices providing solutions for transfer of risk throughout Ohio, West Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, and California.

In 2021, Pro Insurance Group acquired Knight Insurance of Clendenin, WV and Golden Key Insurance Agency of Charles Town, WV adding the expertise and knowledge of Dave Knight and America Martinez to the team.  Opportunities for continued expansion occurred in 2023 with the acquisition of Dye & Williams Insurance Agency of Spencer, WV.  Later in 2023, Marracino Insurance Agency of Wintersville, OH and Williams Insurance Agency of Bergholz, OH were acquired providing added experience from Jeffrey Marracino and Pat & Kay Oldaker.  The addition of experience and merging of staff has been a key contributor in the ability of the agency to continue to provide uninterrupted service to its customers.
